Labs can be ordered through our Quest Diagnostics account and drawn at a Quest location convenient to you — or, if you prefer, we can bill your lab work directly to your insurance. A small area on the upper buttock is numbed with local anesthetic. A tiny incision is made and your BioTE hormone pellet — approximately the size of a grain of rice — is inserted just beneath the skin.
